Officially Awesome

Bob Dylan did on the last years (2006 to 2009) a radio show called “Theme Time Radio Hour” where he would play records and talk about a topic (the theme).

Tom Waits sent him some cassettes about the theme of the day. Listen to the voice. Listen to the pauses. Listen to the expressions he uses. oh.

This song may dissapear for some years, but it always finds its way back. Within reason.

Carlo Van der Roer  is the mind behind The Portrait Machine Project, a series of photographs taken with a Polaroid Aura camera.

The camera was created in the 1970s by a scientist in an attempt to record what a psychic might see. In Carlo´s words:

“The subject is connected directly to the camera by hand-plates that measure biofeedback, which the camera depicts as an aura of color in the Polaroid and translates into a printed diagram and description explaining the camera´s interpretation of the subject.”
